Noesis Plug-In Files
These are python code plug-ins for Noesis – a conversion tool for 3D models, images and animations. They will enable you to extract the models and animations from the original game archive files (.keg) used in the game Football Superstars (2008-2020).
.keg File Extractor (3 downloads )
This plug-in will extract all the files for the Football Superstars .keg archive format. It will enable you to extract the .cxmodel (3D models) and .jiggy (animations) files from their respective .keg archive files. These can then be loaded into Noesis for conversion.
.cxmodel File Extractor (3 downloads )
This plug-in is designed to read the .cxmodel (game assets) and .pccprototype (player) model files. The models may then be exported to the desired format (.fbx, .obj etc) as supported by Noesis.
Note: The model files will first need to be extracted from the bin_CXModels.keg file first. The main player models are in bin_PCCPrototypes.keg. The models parts (head, hair etc.) are in bin_PCCModParts.keg. For some reason the extractor does not currently work for the high poly player model (feel free to try and fix this!).
.jiggy File Extractor (3 downloads )
This plug-in will enable you to read the .jiggy animation files and export them to a more usable format such as .fbx. The .jiggy files will first need to be extracted from the bin_Jiggies.keg file first. It is a little tricky to convert the .jiggy files to .fbx, but basic instructions to do this in Windows using Noesis are:
- Load the male_prototype.pccprototype
- Drag and drop the required Jiggy file from Windows Explorer onto the model
- Choose File->Export From Preview with the following options
- Destination file: Choose output location
- Main output type: .fbx – Autodesk FBX
- Additional animation output: .fbx – Autodesk
- FBX Advanced options: -scale 100 -rotate 90 0 180
- Click Export
You will need the original game to make use of these files. If you no longer have the game installed, it can still be reinstalled via Steam using the link Football Superstars.
